Dedicated Devices, Inc. Names 30-Year Industry Veteran Ken Campbell President and CEO
Co-Founder Jeff Moeser to Drive Product, Technology Vision as Executive Vice President
(Boise ID) - January 11, 2006 -- Dedicated Devices, Inc. (DDi), a designer and manufacturer of a new generation of digital home networking products, today announced it has named industry veteran Ken Campbell as President and CEO. From 2002 to 2004 Campbell served as CEO of Wagic, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based product design and development company. Campbell led a reorganization of WAGIC Inc., raising working capital and developing new products and intellectual property strategies. DDi also announced today that Jeff Moeser has become Executive Vice President, responsible for driving and delivering on the company's technology and product vision. Moeser, who co-founded DDi in 2003, was instrumental in raising venture funding, signing a marketing and distribution agreement with Leviton Manufacturing, and delivering the company's first product in Spring 2005.
"Ken has worked in the technology industry for 30 years, and is an expert in operations, overseeing the production and delivery of quality products, and the development of the distribution channel for both start-ups and publicly traded, established leaders," said Phil Reed, chairman of DDi and a General Partner with Highway 12 Ventures. 30-Year Technology Industry Veteran
Most recently Campbell helped found Goldfinger Corp., a biometric consumer credit company. Campbell is currently on the board of directors of eBoomerang.net and the advisory boards of inFreeDA Inc. and Adept Consulting Inc. Prior to his tenure with Wagic, Campbell was founder, President and CEO of Centegy Corp., a supply chain services and software company that developed Remote Integrator(TM) integration software. Before founding Centegy, Campbell was a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations from 1995 to 1998 for USWEB Corp., a professional services firm, which went public in 1997. Campbell also is credited with restructuring Inmac corp. (now CDW), serving as the company's Vice President and General Manager of North America from 1992 to 1995.
Campbell's first position in the technology industry was with Businessland Inc, where he was the eleventh employee, and held a series of sales and operations positions during his four year tenure. Campbell also spent 10 years working in the automobile industry, beginning his career as an ERP software specialist. He was a member of the board of RH Donnelley Corp, from 1999 to 2005.

In partnership with Leviton Manufacturing, DDi developed the Leviton Entertainment and Applications Platform (LE&AP). LE&AP is the first commercially available and affordable digital home entertainment network product specifically designed and built to utilize the Ethernet structured wiring homebuilders already include in the majority of new homes. LE&AP is placed at the center of a home's wired network to provide wired or wireless Internet access to PCs and laptops and whole-home access to digital audio, video and photos. For homebuyers, LE&AP is an optional upgrade in the same way premium appliances or luxury carpets are chosen prior to the completed construction of their home.
