Ms. Huntsman joined UV Partners in February 2004 as a Life Science Partner. Before joining UV Partners, Ms. Huntsman was Director of Research at Tenex Greenhouse Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on early stage biotechnology and medical device companies. In addition to her role as an investment professional, she was active in the management of several portfolio companies. Prior to working at Tenex Greenhouse, Ms. Huntsman worked in investment banking as an associate equity analyst in the medical device sector at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities (now Banc of America Securities). She also managed marketing, business development and sales operations for a San Francisco based medical supply start-up, MedChannel. Ms. Huntsman has ten years of experience in academic research, and holds a M.S. in Human Molecular Biology and Genetics, and a B.S. in Physiological Psychology from the University of Utah.
